Software and operations

Systems exposed to real constraints.

These projects prioritize operational continuity, human review, auditability, and maintenance over isolated demos.

Médéric operations system

An internal platform I designed and operate around the daily needs of a private hospital. It connects operational logs, professional records, maintenance, controlled prescriptions, auditing, and WhatsApp queries.

  • Nursing and cleaning logs with individual users, PIN confirmation, signatures, and monthly reports.
  • AI-assisted professional document intake with human review and fail-soft error handling.
  • On-premise Linux deployment, auditing, and encrypted backups across four locations.

Lex MX

A public pipeline that transforms Mexican federal legislation from official PDFs into structured Markdown for AI systems.

  • 317 laws and codes cataloged as of August 2026.
  • Detects reforms by date and rebuilds only the documents that changed.
  • Preserves change history through Git and daily GitHub Actions automation.

Physical systems

From the model to a machine that moves.

Projects where the outcome depended on tolerances, fabrication, alignment, wiring, commercial components, and physical tests.

CNC3 - three-axis CNC router

CAD · machining · fabrication · controls · real operation

Independent 2.2 kW CNC build with a 400 × 300 × 150 mm working envelope. I developed the assembly, fabricated the frame, integrated motion and controls, aligned and commissioned it, then sold the working machine for use in a Mexico City workshop. One 150.0 mm target feature was measured within ±0.2 mm; this is not presented as whole-machine volumetric accuracy.

  • Mechanical design across the frame, gantry, component layout, assembly, and manufacturability constraints.
  • CAD/CAM decisions connected directly to machining, fabrication, and practical operation.
  • Electromechanical integration, control packaging, commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting.

Electric bicycle / battery pack

Light EV build · mechanical packaging · battery assembly · testing

A functional light electric vehicle project covering mechanical packaging, frame fabrication, battery-pack assembly, wiring, and system-level troubleshooting. The BMS and controller were commercial components that I integrated and configured, not circuits designed from scratch.

  • Mechanical packaging for battery placement, mounts, wiring, and practical assembly constraints.
  • Battery-pack construction and integration of commercial BMS, controller, and motor components.
  • Prototype-to-use execution through fabrication, wiring, testing, troubleshooting, and real operation.

Robotic arm

Physical build · partial mechanical design · assembly · integration

An engineering project I built physically and helped design in part. It demonstrates robotics exposure, CAD and detail work, mechanical assembly, wiring, and electromechanical integration without overstating my ownership of the complete original design.

  • Hands-on work across the arm structure, joints, gripper, wiring, and physical assembly.
  • Partial mechanical design contribution supported by assembly and end-effector CAD.
  • Relevant experience for machinery, automation, electromechanical products, and prototype validation.

Manufacturing and prototyping

Additive manufacturing / 3D printing

Selected samples showing rapid prototyping, physical iteration, and the practical translation of digital geometry into manufactured parts.

The focus is print preparation, layer orientation, tolerances, iteration, and part usability. These samples demonstrate manufacturing experience without claiming original design ownership of every printed model.
